Very little, if at all, did Cameron McDondle practice the final three weeks of the 2011 season. The Columbine Rebels running back couldn’t.
Torn ligaments in his right ankle suffered in a second-round playoff game with Fairview severly hampered him. But it didn’t stop him. Far from it. Practice or no practice he was going to be there come game day.
“I figured once I get on the field and the adrenaline is going I don’t care what injuries I have as long as I can run and perform at my best,” McDondle said.
