The “I Voted” stickers sent in mail-ballot envelopes won’t affect how votes will be counted, the Arapahoe County clerk says.
After it was discovered Tuesday that the stickers left a slight impression on some ballots, Doty said in a news release late Tuesday the ballots had been tested and the scanner counted the votes correctly.
Election officials also ran a test witnessed by officials from the secretary of state’s office, party officials and the Denver Post. The votes also were counted correctly.
