West Metro Fire Rescue investigators have made an arrest in connection with a fire that destroyed three townhomes in Lakewood.
The suspect, Robert Carlton Lohman, 41, is being charged with multiple counts of arson and reckless endangerment stemming from an early-morning fire on Feb. 15. Investigators allege that Lohman started a fire on the rear patio of his townhome at 8378 W. Virginia Ave. about 2:05 a.m. while Lohman’s family and other residents were asleep.
Everyone in the home, including the pets, made it out of the house safely.
The fire spread to other townhomes and outbuildings, resulting in more than $120,000 in damages.
Lohman is currently being held in the Jefferson County jail. Authorities did not release a possible motive.
