Bus carrying Littleton church group rolls in Grand County

No serious injuries reported among 39 passengers

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a rollover accident involving a bus chartered by Foothills Bible Church in Littleton.

The bus was heading to the Crooked Creek Young Life Ranch near Fraser when it rolled while taking a turn in the westbound lane of Grand County Road 50, west of U.S. 40. 

The bus flipped onto its passenger side and came to rest in a snowbank. The State Patrol described the road conditions at the time as being snowpacked.

The bus was carrying 39 people, and some of the passengers were taken to a local hospital as a precaution.  

The driver, Harold Coiner, 75, was cited for careless driving causing injury.
