The developer of the Littleton Village project on the old Marathon Oil property has received the initial go-ahead from the Littleton Planning Board to make changes to make the project more economically viable.
The Littleton City Council is set to vote on the proposal on Aug. 6.
The project, located on 77 acres on the northeast corner of South Broadway and Dry Creek Road, was approved for development in 2006. But after the economic downturn in 2008, the project has been dormant.
The land was originally zoned for both residential and commercial uses.
