Dakota Ridge graduate and right-handed pitcher Steven Wilson was drafted with the last pick of the 35th round — the 1,088th pick overall — by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2012 amateur draft June 6.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder went 7-1 with a 2.66 earned-run average for the Eagles this past season. He struck out 70, while walking just 15. The 17-year-old signed a letter-of-intent earlier this year to play Division I baseball at the University of Santa Clara (Calif.).
