In their final game of the regular season, the Eagles tied a bow on their second-place finish in the Class 5A Jefferson County League by grinding through a 2-0 victory over Bear Creek at Lakewood Memorial Field.
Then they dogged freshman goal scorer Heather Ward and proceeded to run around throwing ice at each other, giggling and tackling the unlucky ones.
