John Fox could have done a cannonball, belly flop or just walked out on the diving board and sang a song May 16 and still would have won the Class 5A state diving championship. He was that good.
Fox, however, stuck his last dive like he’s trained to do all season, and put an emphatic stamp on his last state meet and first state title.
“It was great,” said Fox, a senior at Chatfield and Kentucky signee. “I was really serious all meet. It was a huge weight off my shoulders from all four years.”
