Winds of change have blown in at Front Range Christian School — more specifically, through the Falcons’ football program.

Defensive coordinator Rob Harris takes over the head coaching duties this year and is excited about reversing the Falcons’ recent fortunes.

“We have a great opportunity to change the fortunes of Front Range Christian School football,” Harris said. “We have had some tough seasons the past few years and the culture needed to change. The guys are enthusiastic and we will surprise this year.”

Harris does have some key talent returning, led by defensive lineman/fullback, John Pontius. Other returning players that figure to play key roles are: Ian Foster (OL/LB), Sean Silvester (WR/RB/LB) and Brian Fast (RB/TE/DE).

The Falcons also have a pair of newcomers in Shane Nau (RB/DE) and Matthew Chacon (QB/FS) that should make an immediate impact.
