As the state endures another dry summer and the wildfires that inevitably result, two Colorado congressmen are trying to put more money into recovery efforts once fires have been put out.
Colorado U.S. Reps. Jared Polis, D-Boulder, and Corey Gardner, R-Yuma, sponsored a successful amendment to the doomed Agriculture Reform and Risk Management Act, also known as the FARM Bill, that was designed to help with wildfire mitigation and recovery efforts.
