When authorities discovered the remains of Jessica Ridgeway on Oct. 10, it was a gruesome end to a horrible chapter in Colorado’s history.
The 10-year-old girl had been reported missing on Oct. 5, when she didn’t make it to school. After five days of desperate searching conducted by local, state and federal agencies along with more than 1,000 volunteers, Jessica’s dismembered body was found in an Arvada field.
Yet it wasn’t the end of the story.
