Anyone who left the game early Oct. 26 at Littleton Public Schools Stadium because it was too cold to stay until the end missed quite an amazing ending when the Arapahoe Warriors defeated the Chatfield Chargers 40-28, claiming the 5A Super 6 conference title.
In the first half, the ninth-ranked Chargers (6-3, 3-2 5A Super 6) looked like they had a chip on their shoulder as the dominated the field. Chatfield scored on the first play of the game when Chatfield junior Austin Steinhoff ran 72 yards untouched.
