The liquor-license hearing for Mr. Biggs scheduled for Feb. 4 has been rescheduled for Feb. 18 at 9 a.m.
The hearing comes two months after a fashion show at the South Jeffco entertainment center that led the sheriff’s office to file multiple charges against owner Art Cormier and manager Larry Crook. About 45 women, some allegedly topless and having their bodies painted, were found behind a curtained-off area at the Dec. 18 event, the sheriff’s office said.
Cormier, who apparently was in a drug-induced coma at a local hospital during the event, said he is not personally responsible, though Mr. Biggs’ management did not necessarily exercise bad judgment, he added.
The Feb. 18 hearing is unrelated to the alleged incident, though several community members have said they will attend the hearing to testify against the business. Cormier and Crook are both scheduled to appear in county court March 9 to face the nudity-related charges.
