When Littleton City Attorney Kirsten Crawford resigned in February after initially requesting a leave of absence, she received a severance package worth six months of her salary, along with benefits.
As city attorney, Crawford made $133,428 a year plus benefits.
The six months of salary, about $66,700, was twice as much severance pay as had been agreed upon between Crawford and the City Council when she was hired in March 2012.
