Proposals to tax recreational marijuana and hotel guests will get public hearings on Aug. 20 before the Littleton City Council decides whether to put them on the Nov. 5 ballot.
The council also is expected to make its decision at the Aug. 20 meeting, which is set to start at 7 p.m. in Littleton City Hall. Both tax proposals must go to voters for approval thanks to the Colorado Taxpayer Bill of Rights.
