The man convicted of a brazen June 2008 South Jeffco home invasion and robbery was sentenced to 55 years in prison June 5.
Garry W. Martin, 43, was named in seven felony cases in the wake of a six-month crime spree in 2008. Three of the cases are in Jeffco, two are in Denver, and there is one each in Arapahoe and Grand counties.
Martin was convicted of kidnapping, first-degree burglary, aggravated robbery, extortion, identity theft, theft, assault and four violent crime counts related to a series of crimes on June 30, 2008, that started at Southwest Plaza.
