Republican Justin Everett of Columbine West is a longtime political figure and community activist in unincorporated South Jefferson County who notched his first big political victory this year with a win in the Republican primary over Loren Bauman. Before that he ran against Mike Kopp and Kiki Traylor in the 2006 primary in Senate District 22, which Kopp won.
