AURORA - Going from 0 to 8 turned out to be plenty fast for Chatfield.
The Chargers took their first varsity season of boys lacrosse all the way to the state quarterfinals, where they were ousted by perennial contenders Regis 10-2 on the Raiders’ home field on May 10.
Chatfield, which finished 13-4, played strong in the first and third quarters, but was worn down in the second and fourth quarters by the faster and physically stronger Raiders (14-4).
