Reiss, Chargers plant early seed vs. Farmers

LAKEWOOD — A number of things can happen in 12 seconds — an earthquake, 21 babies are born worldwide and 30 lightning strikes. That’s just to name a few. Add Jordy Reiss scoring a Chatfield goal against Wheat Ridge to the list.
The senior striker, off an assist from Ryan LaGreca just seconds after the opening kickoff, pushed the first of two Chatfield first-half goals past Farmers goalkeeper Troy Fairbanks as the Chargers scored a 2-0 victory  Sept. 8 at Lakewood Memorial Field.  Chatfield took third place in the 5A/4A South Jeffco Invitational.
