Rezoning hearing scheduled for Woodmar Corners

At 6:15 p.m. Sept. 12, the Jeffco Planning Commission will hold a hearing on a proposal to rezone 7.4 acres of park-owned land on the northwest and northeast corners of Coal Mine Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard for commercial uses.
Foothills Park and Recreation District has offered the land for sale as part of an effort to sell surplus land to raise funds for district purposes. The recommendation of the Planning Commission goes to county commissioners for a final decision.
