Jefferson County Commissioner Don Rosier and Indian Hills resident Brett Roller are collaborating on a plan to establish slash collection sites throughout the county.
“We are in the planning stages of this proposal,” Rosier said. “It’s in response to wildfires.”
Roller recently approached Rosier with the idea for finding 20 sites where residents could drop off tree limbs and debris for a nominal fee. The service would be revenue neutral to taxpayers, rather than costing them extra dollars, Rosier said.
