It’s Travis Roundy’s senior year, and that’s a big motivation factor for the Chatfield swimmer. That and keeping up his kick throughout a race, so he can finish strong.
His finish in the 200-yard freestyle on April 5 at the Ridge Rec Center wasn’t quite up to what he would’ve liked, but it didn’t matter, considering the way he started the race. He swam a meet-winning time of 1 minute, 55.06 seconds as the Chargers won 10 of 12 events for a 194-100 victory over Conifer.
