Search launched for missing woman, 83

The Jeffco Sheriff's Office is seeking help from the public in finding a missing 83-year-old woman, Bobbye Benham. The South Jeffco woman was believed to have been driving to a nursing home in Denver to visit her husband, but never arrived.

Benham has short-term memory loss and difficulty hearing. When visiting her husband, she normally wears black slacks and a black jacket and carries a medium-size black purse. She wears glasses, which are not seen in the photo.

She drives a 2009 silver Toyota Camry with license plate Number 196-BBM. If anyone has information on her whereabouts or may have seen her, call the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office tip line, 303-271-5612.
