A police search for a criminal suspect resulted in a lockdown at Fort Logan Elementary School on the afternoon of Jan. 17.
Sheridan police Lt. Paul Wszolek said officers were attempting to locate a suspect inside a building close to the school.
The lockdown at Fort Logan started about noon and ended after 2:30 p.m. once the suspect was apprehended, Wszolek said.
The Sheridan School District said in a news release that no students were in danger at any time, and that normal activities had resumed as scheduled.
