Several shots reportedly were fired outside GI Jodi's Bar, 11550 W. Meadows Drive, about 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning. No patrons or staff were hit by the bullets.

A witness said a man tried to leave the bar without paying the tab. As the man left, the witness said, staff members followed him to his truck in an attempt to collect money. When the man reached his truck, he pulled out a gun and fired several shots into the air, then got into the truck and raced out of the parking lot, the witness said.

No person appeared to be a target of the shots, and no injuries were reported, said Mark Techmeyer, spokesman for the Jeffco sheriff.

Techmeyer said a suspect was arrested about an hour and a half later without incident. The Sheriff's Office was still conducting its investigation and couldn't confirm the specific details of the shooting.
