Austin Sigg, 17, who is accused of killing 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway, will be tried as an adult. A Jefferson County judge also ordered Sigg to be transferred from the Mount View Youth Services Center to a special housing unit in the Jeffco jail.
At a hearing Tuesday morning, a prosecutor presented two witnesses from the Division of Youth Corrections who asked the judge to approve the transfer.
