Underdog Eaglecrest upends Chatfield in first round of playoffs
LAKEWOOD — Eaglecrest quarterback Adan Soto completed 11-of-16 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns as the 22nd-seeded Raptors upset 11th-seeded Chatfield 29-7 in the first round of the 5A state football playoffs on Nov. 3 at Jeffco Stadium.
Both of those TD passes went to Tre-shawn Wilford, who caught three passes for 115 yards, including a 74-yarder.
Soto also rushed for a touchdown as did Ryan Willey.
