BOYS BASKETBALL
Snow, Rebels rally in the fourth to knock off Littleton

Jon Snow scored a game-high 30 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as Columbine bounced back from its first loss of the season to topple Littleton, 66-58, on Dec. 6.
The Rebels (2-1) trailed 50-45 after three quarters, but rallied to outscore the visiting Lions 21-8 over the final eight minutes.
Tyler McMinimee added 17 points, which included three 3-pointers.
Andrew Malmstrom led Litttleton (2-3) with 23 points.

Highlands Ranch snaps Dakota Ridge’s two-game win streak
HIGHLANDS RANCH
— Evan Motlong and Isaiah Parros scored 16 points apiece as Highlands Ranch snapped Dakota Ridge’s two-game winning streak with a 61-41 win on Dec. 7.
Zach Braxton added 10 points for Highlands Ranch.
The loss dropped the Eagles to 3-2 on the season. Dakota Ridge plays Bear Creek on Dec. 12.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Chatfield gets back on track with victory over Golden

Emily Lachemayer scored a game-high 16 points to lead three Chatfield players in double figures as the host Lady Chargers topped Golden 57-48 on Dec. 6.
The win snapped a two-game losing streak for Chatfield (2-2).
Kailee Cordova added 12 points and Kristi Vaninger scored 10.

Columbine drops third straight, falls to Grand Junction
FRUITA
— Columbine dropped a 60-33 decision to Grand Junction on Dec. 8 for its third straight loss at the Fruita Monument tournament.
The Lady Rebels (1-4) were defeated by Carbon (Utah) 46-30 and Fruita Monument 40-30.

ICE HOCKEY
Vigil, Valor Christian hold off Columbine for 4-2 victory

Caleb Vigil scored twice and Valor Christian had three first-period goals in a 4-2 win over Columbine on Dec. 8 at the Edge Ice Arena.
