Chargers stymie Arapahoe to start off 2013 season at 2-0
Nick Low and Nick Chamberlain combined to throw a five-hitter and Sean O’Dell drove in two runs as Chatfield improved to 2-0 with a 6-2 win over visiting Arapahoe on March 20.
Low allowed two runs on five hits through four innings, while teamming with Chamberlain to strike out 10.
O’Dell went 1-for-2 with a two-run single. Race Fenimore had two hits, including a double.

Dakota Ridge breaks tie in sixth, scores first win of the season
— Dakota Ridge snapped a 4-all tie with a run in the top of the sixth inning to score its first win of the season 5-4 over host Legend on March 18.
Bryce Carson drove in two runs, while A.J. Valerio, Nick Carland and Jack Kotarba each had two hits.
Valerio allowed four runs — three earned — on six hits over five innings for the victory. He walked three and struck out five.

Weiman, Ortiz lead charge as Columbine tops Valor Christian
Columbine starter Blake Weiman allowed one run on two hits in 4 2/3 innings as the Rebels toppled Valor Christian 11-1 on March 22.
Donny Ortiz hit two of Columbine’s four homers and scored three runs. Michael Burns homered and drove in four runs, while Logan Smith also homered, drove in two and scored twice.

Front Range Christian rallies in 7th to remain undefeated
— Scott Wichael went 2-for-5 with three runs driven in as Front Range Christian rallied for six runs in the top of the seventh inning to upend Estes Park 16-13 on March 21.
The Falcons overcame four errors to improve to 4-0 on the season.
Cobi Jones pitched a perfect seventh inning, striking out two to get the victory.

Apergis, Barton pave the way as Columbine stops Dakota Ridge
Andonia Apergis and Tatum Barton each scored a goal as Columbine improved to 4-1-1 with a 2-0 victory over Dakota Ridge at Lakewood Memorial Field on March 20.
Sarah Luebking made five saves in net for the Lady Rebels.

Chatfield scores twice in the first half, knocks off Lady Eagles
Bree Bezdek and Val Cochrane scored first-half goals as Chatfield knocked off Dakota Ridge 2-0 on March 21 at Chatfield Senior High School.
Erin Rafferty and Brittany Wilson combined to make four saves for the Lady Chargers (2-2-1).

Dakota Ridge wins third straight, holds off Grandview
— Jessica Tobey and Samantha Sherman led a balanced attack withas Dakota Ridge won its third straight game 10-9 over Grandview on March 21.
Rebecca Smith made 13 saves in net for Dakota Ridge, which improved to 4-1 on the season.

Columbine controls action in rout of Cherokee Trail
— Becca Miller scored seven goals and Taylor Campman added five as Columbine rolled past Cherokee Trail 21-10 on March 21 at Trailblazer Stadium.
Jordan Visser scored a hat trick, while six other players also scored for the Lady Rebels (4-2).
Freshman goaltender Gigi Burk made four saves.
