BOYS BASKETBALL
Chatfield jumps out to an early lead, routs Palmer Ridge

Chatfield went on a 17-4 run in the first quarter and led by 28 points at halftime en route to a 67-40 win over Palmer Ridge in boys basketball action on Dec. 13.
The Chargers (4-2) have won two straight. Palmer Ridge was led by Matt Cameron’s 13 points.

Foster, Valor Christian prove to be too much for host Columbine
Chase Foster scored 26 points to lead three Valor Christian players in double figures as 4A’s top-ranked team rolled past 5A Columbine 85-71 on Dec. 13.
Keaton Matthies led the Rebels (2-4) with 26 points. Brandon Wilson added 21.

Falcons continue sizzling start, knock off Pikes Peak Christian
Front Range Christian improved to 4-0 with a 51-48 win over Pikes Peak Christian on Dec. 13.
Seth Euken and Mark Waters led Pikes Peak Christian with 14 points apiece.

Dakota Ridge wins 2nd straight behind Antrillo’s 26 points
COLORADO SPRINGS
— Cambrian Antrillo scored a game-high 26 points as Dakota Ridge improved to 3-1 with a 64-57 road win at Doherty on Dec. 10.
Alden Erickson added 12 points for the Eagles.

Williams, Turner pave the way as Boulder topples Littleton
BOULDER
— Sterling Williams scored 13 points to lead 11 players in scoring as Boulder sent Littleton to its seventh straight loss to open the season 64-46 on Dec. 14.
Garrett Turner added 11 points for host Boulder.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Puchino, Lindgren lead Littleton to fifth win of the season
Laura Puchino and Kiera Lindgren combined for 23 points and 15 steals as Littleton improved to 5-1 with a 58-46 win over Rangeview at the Mane Event Tournament on Dec. 14.
Sarah Fee added 11 points for the Lady Lions.

Wood’s double-double paces Dakota Ridge past Cherokee Trail
AURORA
— Lauren Wood had 32 points and 11 rebounds as Dakota Ridge defeated Cherokee Trail 60-53 on Dec. 14 at the Grandview Tournament.
Caitlin Navratil added 10 points as the Lady Eagles improved to 4-2.

Perry, Tait carry Lady Rebels to victory over Westminster
CASTLE ROCK
— Carly Perry scored 21 points and Jaylee Tait added 14 as Columbine topped Westminster 62-45 at the Douglas County Holiday Tournament on Dec. 14.
Columbine (3-2) has won two straight.
