Buildings at Arapahoe Community College were evacuated Tuesday evening because of "threats against the school."
An ACC spokeswoman said later that a man had been arrested off campus in connection with the threats. She said he was not an ACC student.
School officials and security personnel canvassed the campus at 7 p.m., telling everyone they needed to evacuate immediately. A woman whose daughter was in the pool for swimming lessons said parents were told to evacuate as quickly as possible without taking time to let the kids change.
