GOLDEN – Columbine's Michael Tait was the top local finisher at the 5A boys golf state championships Oct. 1-2, tying for 20th with a 15-over-par 157 after back-to-back rounds of 79 and 78 at Rolling Hills Country Club.
Douglas County's Kyler Dunkle, who carded a 1-under 70 on Day 2, won the state championship by one stroke over Legacy’s Eric Chen and Regis Jesuit's Spencer Painton.
