Columbine plays in its third game in three days, going to PKs with Jaguars

LAKEWOOD — The exhaustion Columbine’s girls soccer players exhibited was quite noticeable. It would have been hard not to notice that the Lady Rebels had just played their third game in three days.
And though D’Evelyn walked out of Lakewood Memorial Field on March 16 having outscored Columbine 5-4 in penalty kicks, the South Jeffco Invitational tournament game officially goes down as a 1-1 tie. The penalty kicks were necessary per tournament rules only.
