A portion of money raised at Saturday's Dakota Ridge Invitational track meet at Jeffco Stadium in Lakewood will go toward a fund for victims or the family of victims in the Boston Marathon tragedy on April 15. The project is the brainchild of Dakota Ridge High School runner Carson Hume. Tickets cost $6 for adults and $4 for students, senior citizens and military personnel. One dollar from each ticket sold will go toward the fund. A donation jar also will be in the stadium for spectators who would like to give additional money to the cause. The goal is to raise as much as $10,000 total, including $1,500 at Saturday's meet.
