Despite a concerted campaign by school supporters, Jeffco public schools’ ballot issues 3A and 3B went down to defeat on Nov. 4 in the final unofficial tally reported Wednesday.
Ballot Issue 3A, a mill-levy increase, lost with 141,570 votes, or 49 percent, against, compared with 131,378 votes, or 45 percent, in favor.
Ballot Issue 3B, a bond issue, lost with 136,957 votes, or 47 percent, against, compared with 127,741 votes, or 44 percent, in favor.
