A homicide investigator with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says it’s “rare” that people vanish without a trace in this era of e-mails, credit cards, cell phones and other technology-based activity.
That is the case, however, with 33-year-old Nonnie Dotson, a single mother and Air Force nurse based in San Antonio, Texas, who vanished while visiting her brother, Tony, in Littleton on Nov. 19, 2006, when she left his home to go to a nearby store.
