Lions’ defense sacks Golden

Noah McGhee, undoubtedly, may be a little biased with his opinion that Littleton High may have one of the better defenses in 4A, but, for one night, the Lions backed up their senior running back’s claim.
Littleton’s pressure was relentless on Aug. 27 against Golden in the 2015 kickoff at Littleton Public Schools Stadium. The Lions sacked Demons junior quarterback Jalen Lucero five times, picked him off four times and blocked a third-quarter punt in a 21-0 season-opening victory.
