Chatfield’s late-game collapse to blame for loss

LITTLETON — After Chatfield freshman Ethan Gorowski’s 3-pointer put the Chargers up 60-49 with 4:50 left in the fourth quarter, it seemed as if the Chargers were on their way to their first win of the season.

As the “He’s a freshman” chants rained down from the student section, Chargers fans and players alike were unaware Douglas County was about to go on a 18-0 run that would lead to a 67-62 victory for the Huskies.
