    Carol Sue Lange of Littleton passed away March 3, 2012, after a long, courageous battle with multiple sclerosis and multiple occurrences of pneumonia.

    Beloved wife of 52 years to Stephen S. Lange; devoted mother of Lorna Sue Lange and Laura Carol Adams; mother-in-law of Matt Adams; four grandchildren; loving sister of Harold Virgen and the late Howard Lynn Virgen.

    Lyle A. Peterson, 88, of Littleton passed away March 2, 2012.

    He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Dorothy; daughter Leslie (Robert) Marshman of Texas; son Scott (Donna); grandson Bradley of Littleton; and brother Harvey of Wisconsin.

  • Sophia Chavez Dickerson, 88

    Sophia Chavez Dickerson, 88, of Vienna, Va., beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on April 25, 2011.

    She was born in New Mexico and lived in Denver, where she raised her family.

    She was the mother of Linda (Flick) Hodges, the late Melvin (Sandra) Dickerson, Suezette (Allan) Steinhardt and Lonny (Tammy) Dickerson. She was grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 19.

  • Margaret ‘Peggy’ Beale Keller, 87

    Margaret “Peggy” Beale Keller, 87, formerly of Littleton, passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, in Tulsa, Okla.
    Born June 23, 1923, in Franklin, Va., she was the daughter of Evelyn Causey Lloyd and James Irving Beale. She was a graduate of Franklin High School, St. Mary’s Junior College in Raleigh, N.C., and Katherine Gibbs business school in Boston. During World War II, Peggy worked at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, which developed the proximity fuse, and also worked in the family business, the Franklin Peanut Co.

  • Tobin D. 'Toby' Williams

    Tobin D. "Toby" Williams, born June 29, 1976, in Denver to Leonard and Laurie Williams, died Oct. 5, 2010.

    Toby is survived by his mother, Laurie Lang, and stepfather Howard Lang; stepgrandmother Josephine Lang; sister Renee Hughes (Chris Hughes); niece and nephew Mackenzie and Tyler Hughes; stepbrother Steve Lang and his three children; plus various family members from out of state. Toby was preceded in death by his father, Leonard, in 1989.

  • Doris Antoinette Saunier-Rountree

    Doris Antoinette Saunier-Rountree, also known as Dodie and DoDo and by her stage name Casilda Ardais, was born Aug. 17, 1934, and died Jan. 6, 2011.

  • Darlene Dokken

    Darlene Dokken, a longtime resident of Evergreen, was embraced by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Aug. 21, 2010.

    A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at Foothills Bible Church in Littleton. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

     

  • Jayme Ann Emmons, 50

    Jayme Ann Emmons, 50, of Littleton passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, May 16, 2010, from ovarian cancer.

    Her memorial service was held on May 21 at Waterstone Community Church in Littleton.

    Jayme was born on March 4, 1960, in Kentucky. Jayme married and moved to Colorado with her husband, Terry Emmons, in 1981. She worked as a dental hygienist at two local dental offices.

  • James Milan "Jim" VanKleeck

    James Milan “Jim” VanKleeck passed away unexpectedly on May 25 2010. Jim was the son of Milan and Arlene Van Kleeck of Littleton.

    An adventurous cook, an unlimited source of knowledge and a "jack of all trades," he will be missed dearly and completely by his family and friends.
