A civic-minded citizen pursued two shoplifting suspects through the parking lot of the Burlington Coat Factory on West Bowles Avenue on March 24, jumping into their vehicle in an attempt to thwart the perpetrators.
The black minivan began speeding away with its side door open and the good samaritan inside, until the two female suspects noticed they had company and screeched to a stop, yelling at their unwanted passenger to get out. They then fled.
