16-year-old killed in U.S. 285 rollover crash

A 16-year-old boy has died after his vehicle flipped over on northbound U.S. 285 late Wednesday night.
While on routine patrol around 10:20 p.m., an officer with the Morrison Police Department spotted the single-car rollover accident.
The officer pulled over to help and found that the 16-year-old juvenile driver, who hasn't been identified, was ejected from the car. The driver was pronounced dead on scene.

Two-car accident shut down C-470 eastbound late Wednesday

A two-car accident shut down eastbound C-470 on Wednesday night for more than two hours.

The Colorado State Patrol received a call at 10:41 p.m. According to Trooper Josh Lewis, a 2016 Hyundai sedan hit a 2002 GMC pickup truck, but specifics on what caused the crash aren't yet known.

The driver of the sedan, a 37-year-old female, and the driver of the truck, a 30-year-old male, both were transported to Littleton Hospital. Neither has been identified at this time. Their injuries were minor, but the condition of both is unknown.
