Jeffco deputies are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men who are suspected of damaging roofs and vehicles in South Jeffco.
About 8:30 p.m. Saturday, residents of the 11000 block of West Chenango Drive witnessed two men on a parking lot garage roof. The men appeared to be ripping shingles from the roof and throwing them at parked cars — causing damage to at least two vehicles, according to a Jeffco sheriff's news release.
Don’t support moving sixth-graders to middle school
Not only will this move cost taxpayers $70 million, but research consistently shows that sixth-graders’ performance does not improve when moved to middle school. Sixth-graders will lose an entire year of literacy programs. Furthermore, sixth-graders in middle schools have more disciplinary actions; again, this is not good for students.
Tennis runs deep in Stephen and Carol Ann Holmes’ family. The couple has five sons — four of whom have played singles on the Chatfield Senior High varsity team.
