GREENWOOD VILLAGE — This senior class from Columbine will always be remembered as one of the most-talented in school history.

Starting with a state baseball championship as sophomores to a football title and return trip to the state baseball tourney as juniors, the class achieved many things others only dream of.

The first shall be last.

Chatfield’s No. 1 singles ace Kelsey Brading was last on May 2 on a cold and windy day at the Ken-Caryl Ranch House. She was first, too.

ARVADA – Ryan Ripperton can be unpredictable.

For the Columbine boys lacrosse team, that’s a good thing.

Ripperton, a senior attacker, typically positions himself behind the opposition’s net and looks to create scoring chances for his teammates.
