THORNTON — Jennelle Branting had the somewhat dubious distinction March 30 of being one of only two all-stars without a point at halftime of the annual Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports games.

DENVER — For all of her individual accomplishments - of which there are many - Brooke Pendergraft says her biggest, and proudest, achievements are team-oriented.
Not a surprising answer considering the family atmosphere that surrounds the Dakota Ridge girls basketball team.
CENTENNIAL- Columbine’s young pitching staff learned an old lesson March 21.

Chasing down an excellent through ball from teammate Stephanie Rowe, Hancock was surprised that the soccer ball spilled out of the hands of Mullen’s goalkeeper and right to her feet March 19.
ARVADA- Speed thrills.

While several of her teammates had a large crowd watching their matches, Chatfield’s No. 1 singles player Kelsey Brading played in relative obscurity.
Charger fans missed quite a treat.
LAKEWOOD- What could you do in 2 minutes, 40 seconds?
Nick Nedeau is dreaming big.
Nedeau, and the rest of the Chatfield boys lacrosse team for that matter, don’t see themselves as a first-year program.
So far, it’s hard to argue with them.
Trust is vital to any good relationship.
Defenders and goalkeepers are no different.
