A Link to the Past on Anime Life •

Zelda: A Link to the Past is legend, and even if you haven’t played the original, you’ve probably stumbled across the artwork Nintendo was using for the promo and manual at the time. Twitter user Parter Simmons is obviously a very good animator and brought the scenes to life. This is how we can also imagine a Zelda anime. This isn’t the first time talented fans have created such animated Zelda videos. Matt Vince’s video caused a stir in 2016. By the way: in July, Nintendo announced the purchase of Dynamo Pictures. Dynamo Pictures has been operating as Nintendo Pictures since October and now creates “visual content” for Nintendo. Nintendo Pictures will create CG animations, that’s for sure. These can be cinematics for games, but maybe later also animated films… Nintendo is currently entrusting this to partners with many years of experience. The movie Super Mario Bros. is in progress at Illumination. A rumor that a Zelda movie will also be planned there has not yet been confirmed.
