Hi-Fi Rush from the creators of The Evil Within is the surprise of Developer_Direct •

It was Developer_Direct’s successful surprise of the evening from Xbox and Bethesda. Shinji Mikami Tango Gameworks studio showed off their new game and it is so different from the studio’s previous games including The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo. Hi-Fi Rush is a crazy rhythm action game with single player experience. The next surprise: the game is available now on Xbox, the Microsoft Store and the Epic Games Store and of course also in the Xbox Game Pass. Hi-Fi Rush is a fast-paced action game set in a colorful world where everything from driving to the beat of music – trees swaying through the surroundings with every hit in combat. The battle sequences align perfectly with the rhythm of the music, allowing for gameplay that is not only exciting but also extremely satisfying. Player movements are not prescribed like in a traditional rhythm game – players have all the freedom of an action game. However, inputting actions to the beat amplifies the player’s attacks in sync with the music. The songs also include licensed tracks from rock bands Nine Inch Nails and The Black Keys.
