The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War anime starts in January. Not just in Japan, but also in Europe via Crunchyroll. Now next year there will also be a mobile game based on the anime. The RPG is created by UserJoy Japan, it also tells a new story and introduces new characters. The “ARCUS II” game system is adopted from Trails of Cold Steel III. UserJoy has developed games with Falcom in the past. This includes, for example, The Legend of Heroes: Akatsuki no Kiseki.
That’s what the anime is about
While the four-part video game series follows the adventures of Rean Schwarzer and his gang in Erebonia, the anime series has a different focus. The series is meant to tell the story from the perspective of a new character named Lavian Winslet. The setting will be North Ambria, in northwest Zemuria. Lavian teams up with Martin S. Robinson, Iseria Frost, and Talion Drake in the Northern Jaegers. Together they must carry out a risky infiltration mission in Erebonia. But Rean Schwarzer also has an appearance.
